Once again this year, you could be treated or touched by the winners of the National Massage Championship!
The second year of the National Massage Championship and the second medal goes to Shanti!
The tradition of winning the competition began in 2022 when Shanti Holistic Clinic and College founder Tanya Dakhno-Lakeev won the bronze medal in the only combined category that existed at the time – freestyle massage.
In the photo, Tanya receives the medal from Jeppe Tengbjerg of the International Massage Association, from Belgium.
This year, the international event was held again in Montreal, on May 7 and 8, at the Palaise de Congrès.
Of course, Tanya, as a teacher of Ayurvedic massage and Qigong massage, encouraged Shanti College graduates and recent students to participate in this great international event.
Tanya Dakhno-Lakeev:
I am NOT in competition mode at all, it is not in my nature. I am also not competing in any way that is valued for my activity in a Shanti College.
I simply want to take the human spirit and beauty to a higher level, as my masters said, to be like a god.
Finally, 10 massage and personal challenge enthusiasts were listed as participants. Here they are:
Manon Bobitaille
Sophie Robidoux
Larysa Kashyrina
Artur Gorin
Ihor Piestov
Olena Verhales
Svitlana Kravchenko
Olena Harib
Mykyta Osyka
Mykyta Kalinichenko
3 students from Shanti College, Svitlana Kravchenko, Mykyta Kalinichenko and Olena Harib, have achieved excellent results at the championship and have been selected for the semi-finalist level.
We are very proud of you!
Olena Harib, a student of Shanti Clinic Holistic College, a branch located in Quebec City, received her silver medal in an international group.
We are very happy to be the winning teachers, especially with our Quebec City instructor, Yustyna Tril.
Tanya Dakhno-Lakeev:
As a teacher, I am very happy when my graduates from the Shanti Holistic School start their careers in the field of massage therapy and naturopathy. When they win, they share wisdom and care, they shine the soul… What more can the teacher ask for at the end of the day?
It was a really great two days with people from all over the world who are passionate about massage and bodywork.
Many students, friends, volunteers, Shanti family members came to be a part of Big, to communicate, to support.
Many of the participating massage therapists proudly displayed their logos and those of their supporters at the LNE Canadian Massage Championships, allowing their world to shine from one end of the planet to the other.
We are in the will to spread health through wellness, with the World Wellness Weekend to support the massage therapists of Quebec in their actions esteilles for the wellness of populations.
On May 7 and 8, 2023, Jean-Guy de Gabriac, founder of the World Wellness Weekend, who came specially from Europe to Quebec thanks to Allez Housses/Massage Boutik, sponsor of the event, was judge and guest of honor of the championship.
The 2023 championship was also organized with passion by 2 ambassadors of the World Wellness Weekend Quebec / Week-end Mondial du Bien-être Québec Liane Dufresne and Katja Prpic Tremblay.
