Here we want to explain to those who are interested in training as a mass therapist or naturopath with Shanti College, the school of CHAMPIONS.
About certification and membership in professional associations.
We, Shanti College, certify our graduates at the end of each course, and our diploma, given to you upon graduation, is your credential in the field.
With our diploma, you go to the professional associations and choose the best one for you. The College recommends several with a good reputation such as RITMA, ACNN Académie des naturopathes et naturothérapeutes du Canada, ACAM Association Can-American des Massothérapeutes, ANQ L’Association des Naturothérapeutes du Québec, Regroupement des Massothérapés du Québec, AQTN Association de Massothérapés et naturopathes au Québec, etc.
You will be welcomed as a member of these and other associations of Québec and Canada, they will protect you if necessary, recommend you insurance for your professional services and so on. See their websites to compare their terms and choose the best one for you.
Professional Mass Therapy or/and Naturopathy Associations take you as a member and you give insurance receipts to your clients on their behalf. Payouts to your clients from insurance organizations depend on which insurance companies your clients have a policy with, not on your work or membership in any particular association. We can tell you from our analysis, that at the moment mass therapy receipts are paid better than naturopathy, but it depends on which insurance policy your client bought.
Some of our training can give you the name of both a massage and naturopathic practitioner at once, which is more beneficial to you because it captures both those clients who have a mass therapy policy and those who have bought the naturopathic/naturopathy service.
When choosing a particular professional program of 400 or more hours, watch and ask about it when you sign up for a course.
We look forward to seeing new students to become health and mercy CHAMPIONS together!
